JARVIS TOWNSHIP NEW STORAGE SHED PROJECT<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Separate sealed bids for the NEW STORAGE SHED PROJECT will be received by Jarvis Township at 112 North Main Street, Troy, IL 62294 until 2:00 p.m. <\/u><\/em><\/strong>CST, Friday, November 14, 2025<\/u><\/em><\/strong>, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Sealed bids should be labeled \u201cJarvis Township New Storage Shed Project\u201d on the outside of the envelope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The proposed work consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n One new 60\u2019x75\u2019 pre-engineered metal building storage shed on concrete foundations with a concrete drive up apron, three (3) overhead doors, two (2) man-doors, electrical service, internal\/external lighting and ceiling fans.\u00a0 Base bid to include an interior gravel floor, with an alternate for a structural concrete floor, and an alternate for 4\u2019 roof overhangs.\u00a0 Site work to include re-grading of excavated soils and seeding.\u00a0 Contractor to include all other necessary collateral work to complete the project shown on the plans and specified.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Bids that are furnished by mail shall be addressed to Jarvis Township, ATTN: Jarvis Township New Storage Shed Project, 112 North Main Street, Troy, IL 62294.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Plans, specifications and contract documents may be examined and obtained at the following location:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Formation Architects, Inc. Copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained upon the deposit of $100.00 for each set. Deposits will be totally refunded to prime general contractors submitting a bid upon return of the plans and specification in good condition within twenty (20) calendar days after the opening of the bids. An additional non-refundable charge of $25.00 to cover the cost of postage and handling is required for those contractors\u2019 requesting plans and specifications be mailed to them. Digital copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained at no cost upon Architect\u2019s receipt of a completed request\/release form provided by the Architect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Plans, specifications, and contract documents are also available for examination at Southern Illinois Builders in O\u2019Fallon, Illinois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days of the scheduled time of closing bids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The successful bidder will be required to execute and present performance and payment bonds in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract.
