NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN . . .

to the legal voters, residents of the Township of Jarvis in the County of Madison and State of Illinois, that the Annual Township Meeting of said Township will take place on:

Tuesday, April 8, 2025
being the second Tuesday of said month
at the hour of 7:00 PM at
112 N. Main Street, Troy, IL

for the transaction of the miscellaneous business of the Township; and, after a Moderator having been elected, will proceed to hear and consider reports of officers, and decide on such measures as may, in pursuance of law, come before the meeting; and especially to consider and decide the following:

• Approval of the 2025/2026 calendar of all regular and special meetings of the Township (currently set for the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00p)
• Approval of the setting of the 2026 Annual Township Meeting for April 7, 2026 at 7:00p
• Presentation of Supervisor’s Annual Financial Reports
• Presentation of Highway Commissioners Equipment Report
• Appointment of a Weed Control Superintendent for 2025/2026
• Declaration of surplus property for the purposes of donating to a not-for-profit corporation
• Open Discussion of Topics proposed by Jarvis Township Electors prior to March 1, 2025
